Starting school is a magical time: a time of new experiences, new friends and new places. In Class 1 we focus on creating a warm nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and eager to learn. Our days will be filled with play, exploration and discovery.

We place a strong emphasis on the love of reading, as it is one of the most important foundations of your child's learning journey. We will spend time each day exploring books together and we encourage you to share stories at home as well. 

Spending time outdoors is an integral part of our curriculum. The children access our extended classroom outside throughout the day. We also enjoy our weekly visits to our on-site Forest school where children can develop important life skills such as problem solving, teamwork and resilience.  

We can’t wait to start this incredible journey with you making this a wonderful and memorable year for your child.
